Who we are
Sparrowood Jewelers opened in 1989 with the dream of creating a customer oriented jewelry shopping and repair business. Too often customers have been sold to, rather than listened to, the founders, Jo Sparrow and Henry Wood wanted to change that. Not only would they provide beautiful pieces of jewelry, but exceptional service as well.
Why we do it
Jewelry is personal. Finding the perfect piece for just the right person is the highlight of our day. We develop personal relationships with our customers because it’s important to know who they are in order to find the perfect piece for them.
Where we’ve been
We started out focusing on classic and fine jewelry and watches along with jewelry repair. We’ve expanded to carry a broad selection of unique fashion pieces, estate, and custom jewelry creating bespoke pieces for our customers.
What we do
As we have grown and expanded, we have offered more customization and personalized shopping experience. For example when shopping for an engagement ring, not only can we help you find the mounting of your dreams’, but also help you choose and understand the way diamond grades influence the final product and price…After all, jewelry is one of the few heirlooms we can pass down that carries such a powerful story that lasts forever.
Over the years
We have grown an estate collection with pieces from the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Arts & Crafts Movement, Art Deco, and Retro Eras.
Planning for the future
Along with researching trends and fashion, we listen to both customers and experts on what THEY want to wear. Jewelry is the ultimate accessory and meant to bring beauty and confidence in the wearer. This is not only true with fashion pieces, but with diamonds. As many more options become available such as lab created diamonds, we continue to educate our customers so that they can make the right choice for them.
